Livestreaming Etiquette

Following is the post I created to share in my Facebook groups to encourage those participating in our weekly live Q&A sessions:

🌟 Important Etiquette for Our Weekly Live Q&A Sessions 🌟

Our weekly live Q&A sessions are an awesome opportunity for us to learn, engage, and share in a fun atmosphere. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for those joining us in the virtual StreamYard studio, as well as our viewers on Facebook and YouTube, let’s keep in mind these best practices:

Mic Manners Matter: While you are on screen, please be cognizant of sounds your microphone picks up; if at all possible, mute your mic when you’re not speaking. It helps in reducing unwanted noise.

Visual Vibes: If you’re participating with audio only, setting a unique human avatar for your on-screen presence is a great touch! You will be able to set that avatar in the StreamYard studio.

Dress Code: Be mindful of your attire. Opt for clothing that is appropriate for face-to-face meetings. It reflects well on you and respects the viewership. 🎥👔🌟

Background Check: Choose a simple, non-distracting background. It keeps the focus on you and the conversation.

Noise Control: Before joining, do a quick check for any background noise. A quiet environment enhances the experience for everyone.

Stay Engaged: We encourage your active participation. Your questions and insights are what make these sessions truly special!

Respect and Kindness: A respectful and supportive atmosphere is key. Let’s appreciate each other’s contributions.

React and Interact: Don’t forget to register your reactions during the live stream – those thumbs up, hearts, and comments on Facebook and YouTube really liven up the session and help us reach more people.

Your cooperation in following these guidelines ensure our Q&A sessions are both enjoyable and professional. Can’t wait to connect with you all on Thursday! 🌈🎤
