Twitch.TV

I have never been a “gamer” so when Amazon bought Twitch in August 2014 I gave it little attention. But, as Amazon got more involved with it, and introduced it to a broader audience, I decided Twitch would be a great destination to tell my Second Life story, a life-changing adventure of personal and business development. I picked up the barbi.live domain name and began to visualize putting together long-playing production. Well, within days after the domain acquisition I started a new role in life, that of a cancer caregiver, and ultimately had to put all my dreams aside until that role had played out.

Fast forward to May 12, 2021. I am “back in the saddle” with a renewed vigor for getting back into the “game of life”. I am confident production will begin soon, so please stay tuned, and subscribe to my BarbiLive Twitch channel!

According to the Wikipedia entry,

“Twitch is the fourth largest source of Internet traffic during peak times in the United States, behind Netflix, Google, and Apple. Twitch makes up 1.8% of total US Internet traffic during peak periods.”

Because I know I am going to want to stream music in the background of some of my Twitch productions, I will be browsing their Soundtrack offering in the Twitch Creator Camp often. Another option for music would be Streambeats (curator).
